When thinking about your lawn, don't forget to think about landscaping, flowers, trees and hard scapes. Decorating your yard can be very rewarding and can offer a tranquille escape from stress. Here are some general guidelines for Lawn Care: First test the soil for proper PH and fertilizer deficiencies. You can buy a kit at Lowes, Home Depot or Wal-mart to provide this information. If you PH is low or Acidic you will need to add Lime to raise the PH to between 6.5 and 7. Fertilizers will cause your soil to become acidic overtime and prevent your lawn from absorbing the minerals it needs.
